Donald D. Kidd, MD, FACS

Personal History
Dr. Kidd was born and raised in Louisville, Kentucky. He received his undergraduate degree from the University of Kentucky and then received his medical degree from the University of Louisville. He did a surgery internship at the University of Illinois and then attended the Naval Aerospace Medical Institute where he was a Naval Flight Surgeon. He served in the military for ten years, completing his duties as a Navy Commander. During that time he received post-graduate training at the Bethesda Naval Hospital and completed his residency in Urology.

He is a member of the American Association of Clinical Urologists, American College of Surgeons, Alabama Urology Society, Medical Society of Mobile County, Medical Association of the State of Alabama, and the American Medical Association. He is also a member of the American Urological Association where he has served on the Judicial and Ethics Committee as well as being Alabama’s representative to the board of directors.

Dr. Kidd is board certified by the American Board of Urology, and he joined the group in 1989. His areas of interest are general urology, erectile dysfunction, and vasectomy.
