Personal History
Dr. Terry was born and raised in Mobile. He attended the University of Alabama where he graduated cum laude. He received his medical degree from the University of Alabama in Birmingham and followed this with 2 years of general surgery at the University of Kentucky Medical Center in Lexington, Kentucky.
Dr. Terry then returned to Birmingham where he completed 3 years of Urology residency and followed this with a 1 year fellowship in pediatric urology at Texas Children's Hospital in Houston.
He is a member of the American Urological Association, American Academy of Pediatrics, American Association of Clinical Urologists, American College of Surgeons, Medical Society of Mobile County, and the American Medical Association. He is also a member and past president of the Alabama Urology Society. He served as Vice President of the Medical Association of the State of Alabama, and is Chairman of Alabama's delegation to the AMA.
Dr. Terry is board certified by the American Board of Urology and he joined the group in 1985. His areas of interest are pediatrics and general urology.
