Processing your Urology and Oncology Prescriptions in-house is part of our ongoing services to you. These prescriptions can be sent by your provider by one of the following methods:
We make it easy for you to get the medication you need. All new orders will be sent electronically through our Allscripts EHR system which connects with our QS1 system.
Contact the dispensing office at 251-410-1133 or our toll free number is available at 800-844-6912 and speak with a member of our staff. If no one answers, a voicemail can be left and will be returned the same day. If you call after hours, your call will be returned the following business day.
If the physician dispensing office is not accessible, patients will be referred to an outside specialty pharmacy that is in network with their insurance plan within one business day. Our team will handle all the required paperwork in a timely manner.

If you stop using a medication or need to dispose of a medication for any other reason, please follow the guideline below: The FDA recommends that you combine oral drugs with a foul tasting substance (like cat litter or used coffee grounds) and place in a seal plastic bag and dispose of this in your household trash. If a prescriber has prescribed narcotics for you at an outside pharmacy, the FDA recommends these be flushed down the toilet. This prevents children and pets from accidentally ingesting the drugs, which can be harmful or even fatal.
With every medication you receive, there is a patient information sheet that outlines the proper usage, as well as any possible drug interactions and side effects. Please note that some medications can interact negatively with other prescriptions or over- the-counter (OTC) medications. It is very important that you let your prescriber and the physician dispensing employee know about any other medicines, including herbal supplements or dietary supplements you are taking. If you experience any of the listed side effects or believe you may be having an adverse reaction to a medication, call 911. You will also need to alert your prescriber of this reaction by calling 251-343-9090 if it is after hours and speak with the physician on call. If it is during business hours, please call the physician dispensing office at 251-410-1133 or 251-343-9090.
